This is The A-Team Gaming Club's official site. We are a Games-Workshop Gaming Club located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. We specialize in Warhammer 40k, however we also play Necromunda, Warhammer Fantasy and LOTR. News: The A-Team heads down to Baltimore!
 
News concerning this site, events, etc.As most of you know, this weekend is Games Day Baltimore 2009! The A-team is bringing two tables down this year- the 40k Zombies table from last year as well as our new Plains of Rohan LOTR table. We are really looking forward to to Saturday and we hope to see several of you there!

Pictures and news from the event will be posted Sunday or Monday (long before it's put on GW's site).

News: Hobbytown/A-Team Tournament Results and Pictures!
 
News concerning this site, events, etc.The 40k tournament at the Fairfield Historical Society on March 14th was a great way to kick of the 2009 season! Pictures are available in the Photo Gallery to your left...you must be a registered member to view them. Congratulations to our winner Robert Roda. Judging was based on both gaming and painting. Players recieved 10 points for each victory, 5 points for each draw and no points for a loss. Painting/modelling counted for a maximum of 10 points and was judged based on each army's overall level of detail, highlighting, conversions, basing and overall unique quality. The players who received the highest painting scores were Robert Roda and Jason Carter, each with 9/10 points. The highest overall score that a player could have recieved was 40 points.

Here are the COMPLETE RESULTS:

Overall Winner: Robert Roda (Orks)- 34 points
Runner Up: Eric Rieves (Eldar)- 33 points
3rd Place: John Burnett (Space Marines)- 32 points
4th Place: Sean Nayden (Eldar)- 31 points
5th Place: Ryan Beckwith (Necrons)- 22 points
6th Place: Jason Carter (Chaos SM)- 19 points
7th Place:Will Burns (Chaos SM)- 16 points
7th Place: Garrett Bond (Grey Knights)- 16 points
7th Place: John Moore (Space Marines)- 16 points
10th Place: Curtis Waldhaus (Eldar)- 14 points
11th Place: Sam Audino (Necrons)- 3 points
12th Place: Greg Convertito (Space Marines)- 0 points

News concerning this site, events, etc.Saturday's tournament (11/22/08) at the Farifield Historical Society was a success. Congrats to Robert Roda (Fantasy Tournament Winner), Wes Goreman (40k Tournament Winner), Garrett Bond (Fantasy: Best Painted Army) and Jacob Shaeffer (40k: Best Painted Army).
